Cookie Policy
Last updated: 11 July 2026 · Contact: team@edvet.in
This policy explains how edvet.in uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, pixels, attribution parameters). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to remember things between visits — like keeping you signed in, or measuring which ad brought you here.
2. Cookies we use
- Strictly necessary: sign-in sessions, security (fraud and abuse prevention), form autosave so you can resume an unfinished enquiry, and your language preference. These cannot be switched off — the site does not work without them.
- Analytics: privacy-conscious product analytics that tell us which pages and steps work well (page views, form-step completion, feature usage). Used to improve the service; never sold.
- Advertising attribution: when you arrive from a Google or Meta ad, we store campaign identifiers (UTM parameters, gclid, fbclid) so we can measure — in aggregate — which campaigns lead to real classes. We share conversion events back to those platforms for measurement; we do not run third-party ad networks on our pages.
3. WhatsApp
Most of Edvet happens on WhatsApp, which sets no cookies through our site. Messages there are governed by our Privacy Policy and WhatsApp’s own terms.
4. Your choices
- Browser controls: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; strictly necessary features may stop working.
- Analytics and advertising cookies are used only after you continue past our consent notice; you can change your choice from the site footer at any time once the preference centre ships.
- Ad platform controls: Google (adssettings.google.com) and Meta (Ad Preferences) let you manage ad personalisation on their side.
5. Changes & contact
As the product grows this list will be kept current on this page. Questions: team@edvet.in.
